Elizabeth Ann Collins

Elizabeth N. "Betty Ann" Collins, age 83, passed away on March 18, 2011 at her home in Hamden. Formerly of Norwich, Betty Ann was predeceased by her husband Paul J. Collins in 1978. She is survived by her sister of whom she resided with, Margaret N. "Gwen" Roberts and her 2 care givers, Hattie Rious & Alma Hammond. Born in Norwich on April 19, 1927, she was a daughter of the late John & Margaret Connell Nagle. Betty Ann retired as a supervisor from the Southern New England Telephone Co. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the American Kennel Club. Friends may attend her funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 22nd in the Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Norwich. Contributions in her memory may be made to Blessed Sacrament Church, 321 Circular Ave, Hamden, CT 06514. Arrangements are in care of BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden.
