Elizabeth Ann Dickerson

Elizabeth Gray Dickerson, 84, of Ivor, Virginia passed away on November 28, 2025, at Sentara Obici Hospital.
She loved sitting on her porch and reading, she would embroider pillow cases and give them away, and she loved sitting in her chair and watching the cars go by. She also loved it when her family would check on her, she could talk your head off, and when her friends walked by she loved getting the opportunity to catch up with them. She loved her family and she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband Oscar James Dickerson Jr., her parents Tom and Elizabeth Gray, her brother Pete Gray, and her very dear friend Robin Dubois.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister-in-law Daisy Gray, brother Earl Gray, her children, James Dickerson (Mary), Linda Harrup (Marty), Robert Dickerson (Teresa), and Donna Pair; her grandchildren, Tommy Dickerson (Kathy), Tammy Dalton (Pat), Jonathan Dickerson, Jennifer Dickerson, Keith Harrup (Andrea), Timothy Harrup (Tammy), Gregory (Morgan), Steven Cox, Doris Watts (Danny), and Stacey Howard (Erin); her great grandchildren, Oma Faith Dickerson, Summer Dalton, Rosmary Dalton, Devin Dalton, Paige Dickerson, Brenna Dickerson, Taylor Dickerson, Dallas Dickerson, Dakota Dickerson, Myla Harrup, Scout Barnett, Dorothy Barnett, Phillip Harrup, Andrew Cox, Harley Dalton, Phoenix Dalton, Braiden Powell, Austin Barnes, Bella Barnes, and Carter Barnes; and her great great grandchild Mattie Mosley.
A visitation will be held Wednesday December 3, 2025 from 6-7:30PM at the Harrup Home (12190 Ivor Road, Sedley VA). Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Elizabeth's name to the Ivor Fire Department and Rescue Squad.
