Elizabeth Ann Dilorenzo of
Lyndonville, New York passed away peacefully of natural causes at her home on January 26th, 2026 with her loving family by her side.
Ann was born on May 8th, 1927 to James and Margaret Miller on
Staten Island, New York. After marrying on Christmas Eve of December, 1952, she remained a devoted wife for 64 years to Louis Theodore Dilorenzo. She earned her RN nursing degree from Cumberland Hospital School of Nursing in 1948. She continued her career at Medina Hospital while raising her 10 children on the family farm in Millers near Lyndonville.
She and her husband Lou spent their retirement years tirelessly volunteering with Habitat for Humanity here in Orleans County and in many other states. They were privileged to build scores of homes and especially enjoyed working with the Sioux and with Jimmy Carter on some builds.
Anne's greatest joys and happiest moments always involved her family. She was the loving mother of Anthony (Shirley), Peter (Linda), Robert (Sylvia), Victoria (Mark- deceased), Nicholas (Elaine), Nina, Lisa, David, Joseph (Linda) and Jesse (Sarah).
From her children she became the proud grandmother of Antonia, Vincent, Jamie, Isaiah, Nathanael, Noah, Peter Ian, Kristin, Mason, Ariana, Nicholas, Mikayla, Drew, Morgan, Cassandra, James, Michael, Daniel, William, Luke and Isabella.
Her joy grew with her great grandchildren: Brae, Sorren, Selah, Lorenzo, Luciano, Vittorio, Madeline, Eoin, Matthew, Louis, Wesley, Eliana, Oliver, Layla, also surviving are her sister and brothers-in-law, Camille Martin, Anthony, Fred DiLorenzo, her beloved nieces, Betty, Evelyn, and Eleanor.
She loved them all and still found her own time to enjoy life's blessings, gardening flowers and baking; she was a great textile artist creating beautiful projects with embroidery and needlepoint.
Predeceased by her loving husband in 2016, Louis Theodore DiLorenzo, her sister Marge Gorham, nephew, Freddy, brother, James Miller, niece, Evelyn, daughter- in- law, Bonnie, son- in- law, Mark, granddaughter, Megan, mother-in-law Sally, sister-in-law Francis.
Ann was a kind, caring, generous woman, impacting this world with all the love, kindness and goodness God gave her to share, she spread it around to outlast her forever.
There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be planned later in the year.
