Elizabeth Ann Evans, age 85, of Wilmington, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord peacefully late Saturday night, January 31, 2026 at the Hospice of Cincinnati with family by her side.
She was born July 31, 1940 in Wilmington, Ohio daughter of the late Marvin Alta Roberts & Olive Mae (Wilson) Roberts-Botts. On September 24, 1955 in Lawrenceburg, IN, she married the love of her life, Earl Ray Evans, who passed on March 18, 2014, they had 59 happy years together.
Elizabeth was a woman of deep faith who loved Jesus and cherished her family above all else. She shared a special bond with her sister, Linda, and found great joy in spending time watching and loving on her grandchildren. She had a caring and generous spirit, often expressing her love through crocheting handmade gifts for her family. Elizabeth will be remembered for her faith, her warmth, and the love she poured into those around her.
Left to cherish her memory are her 4 children: Kathy (Jon Williams) Evans, Marvin Ray (Peggy) Evans, Melinda (Dean) Ewing, and Rhonda (Randy) Jones, all of Wilmington; 12 grandchildren: Charlie Ray (Dawn) Richards, Jonnie (Margie) Williams, Renee (Rudi) Harding, Kristi (Josh) Robinette, Olivia Hester, Elisa Williams, Michael Evans, Brad (Angel) Van Hoose, Valerie Evans, Christopher Evans, Vanessa (Randy Wiseman) Evans, and Robert Evans; 4 step-grandchildren: Jeremy (Amanda) Ewing, Derek (Casey) Jones, Jared (Kirsten) Jones, and Charles Plymire; 23 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; 8 step-great-great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Campbell; brother, Tom Roberts; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
