Elizabeth Fearn, beloved wife, sister, and mother to three children, age 78 of Mobile, Alabama, passed away peacefully on July 5th, 2025 after a brief illness. Elizabeth was born in Mobile, Alabama on October 23, 1946 to Vernon Lyle Burns and Desma Burns (Johnson). Liz lived in Mobile and Robertsdale Alabama. She attended Cosmetology school and worked for many years providing professional services to many clients. She also enjoyed being a nail technician. She worked with Hewlett Packard in production of circuit boards, as well as building Morse coding stations that shipped worldwide.
Elizabeth was a devoted mother to Jennifer, Pierre, and Keith her pride and joy. She was always proud of their accomplishments, and gave loving support to them and they felt that in the love she provided.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by; her father and mother, Vernon and Desma Burns; her loving husband, Pierre D. Fearn Sr.; and her brothers, Robert Burns, Joseph Burns, and Ray Browder.
She is survived by; her sister, Sarah Copeland of Saraland, AL; her daughter, Jennifer (Phillip) Ray of Gulf Shores, AL.; her son, Pierre D. (Rachel) Fearn Jr. of Theodore, AL; her son, Keith (Jodie) Fearn of Robertsdale, AL; her special grandchildren, Callie Ann Ray and David Fearn who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.
Her family, extended family and very special friends were so important to her life. She enjoyed family get together, holidays, and cooking special foods that all loved. Especially her delicious gumbo.
The funeral service for Elizabeth will be held on Friday at 2 P.M. on July 11th, 2025, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Friday, July 11th, from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
