Elizabeth Sissy- Marie Flores of San Angelo passed away, September 27, 2025, at the age of 65. She was born on November 13, 1959, in Wiesbaden Germany to Willard and Carrie Sample. She attended Irving High School in El Paso, Texas, where she met her high school sweetheart Salvador Flores. They were married June 17, 1978. Their marriage blessed them with 2 children.
Liz was not only a student but also an instructor at Aladdin Beauty College. She was also an instructor at Texas College of Cosmetology. Her love for teaching and making others feel beautiful was her passion. She was blessed to be able to watch her 6 grandchildren grow up into adult hood. And was beyond blessed to be able to have seen her 3 beautiful great - granddaughters come into this world. As a close-knit family, grandma was a loving teacher and a true role model to our family. She will be truly missed by all of us. Her guidance, love and words of wisdom will continue to help mold the lives of our families.
From her husband: Liz, you have blessed me with this beautiful family and life. May you know rest in peace. Remember our plan. I will find you so we can continue this journey together. I LOVE YOU SISSY MARIE.
Liz is preceded in death by her parents.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 47 years Salvador Flores, her children Salvador Flores Jr. (Alison Montalvo) and Candice Chappa (Robert Chappa) grandchildren Camrie Flores, Robert Chappa III, Xavier Chappa, Alyssa Chappa, Jazmyne Flores and Adrian Chappa. Great Granddaughters, Selena Chappa, Emma Saenz and Maevlyn Saenz. Siblings Cynthia Waters, Patricia Williams and Robert Sample.
Visitation is Thursday Oct.2, 2025 from 5pm-7pm. Service will be Friday Oct. 3, 2025, at 2pm. at Harper Funeral Home.
