Elizabeth K. "Betty" Florindo

MIDDLEBORO - Elizabeth "Betty" (Kinsman) Florindo, age 103 years old, was born June 23rd 1922 in Middleborough, Massachusetts on School Street (where her mother always noted) in Dr. Holmes "Beehive".

Born to Frank and Elizabeth (Thomas) Kinsman. She was one of seven children. She was educated in Middleborough schools and graduated in June 1940 from Memorial High School. She worked at Winthrop and Atkins for seven years and again after her marriage to Antoine Florindo of Wareham. They built their home on Cranberry Highway in 1946 which was completed by April of 1947 where they lived until his death in the year 2000. She moved to Royal Crest Mobile Home Park a year later.

At one time she did quite a bit of painting which she proudly displayed throughout her home. She enjoyed the company of her many friends far and near and took many trips with her sisters to Alaska, Nova Scotia and Wisconsin. Her hobbies also included crossword puzzles, painting / coloring and baking, she was a Boston Red Sox fan, she enjoyed visiting friends and attending church.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025 at Center Cemetery (Annex), Tihonet Rd., Wareham at 11:00 AM where she will be buried with her husband.
