Elizabeth A. Francesconi

FRANCESCONI, Elizabeth A. "Betty" (nee Blank), passed away peacefully on January 14, 2025. She was 81. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Albert R. Francesconi, Sr. Loving mother of Marc Francesconi (Jean), Anita Quinn (Dan), James Francesconi and the late Albert Francesconi, Jr. Dear grandmother of Tiara, Dominic, Elijah, Briana, Keegan, Yanina, Lynda, and Alyson. Dear sister of Billy Blank (Alice), the late Patty Andress and the late Barbara Etiel and dear sister in law of Joan Francesconi (Jim). Born and raised in Camden, Betty and her husband raised their family in Cherry Hill before she moved to Marlton. Once her children were in school, she managed the office in her husband's private medical practice and went on to work at Virtua in their Insurance Dept. Betty was a beloved active member of St. Joan of Arc Church. She enjoyed her time spent working with the Bereavement Team. From the time she was a little girl she loved her trips to the Jersey Shore. Early on, she would go to the beach with her grandparents and then her children and family. In the summertime, you could find her reading a book on the beach, something she thoroughly enjoyed. She loved to read and a family quote was "if you have a book, you always have a friend". To know Betty was to always have a friend too. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to gather for her visitation on Saturday January 25, 2025 from 10-11am at St. Joan of Arc Church Willow Bend Road where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital stjude.org/donate
