I knew Lib from spending 4 yrs at Nazareth College with her & she remained a dear friend throughout our lives. I was so terribly saddened to hear of her passing. I can´t even express how hard it hit me as I was completely dumbfounded. Although we didn´t chat on a monthly basis it was March when I last had an hours long conversation with her as we usually did when we played catch up. I knew she was facing more surgeries but never thought this would be our last chat.
I want to extend my sincere condolences to everyone in your entire family. I know Lib was such a generous & giving person to all in your family, especially her nieces & nephews & their children. She truly will be sorely missed by all including me. RIP Lib I know you went soaring straight to heaven. Until we meet again...

My dear friend & classmate at Nazareth College, who lived in room across from mine in the dorm. I loved going to visit you & your family in Cheverly on break, & much later a visit to see you 3 years ago. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend many decades in between. The Doerner family and the Gallagher family lived in Cheverly, Maryland and shared many experiences. They were frequent guests in each other's homes and the kids played, schooled and prayed together at Saint Ambrose. Lib was a good friend to me and will be remembered always. Our prayers and love for the Gallagher family will endure.
