Elizabeth Ann (Mann) Geoia, 70, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022, at MHP Medical Center in Shelbyville.
She was born January 18, 1952, in Shelbyville, the daughter of Frank Jesse and Lizzie Mae (Lindsey) Mann.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Michelle Raney and husband, Richard Jr., and Katherine Islas and husband, Alexander, both of Shelbyville; sisters, Janet Krise and husband, Larry, of Shelbyville, and Joyce Sipes and husband, Jerry, of St. Paul; brother, Roy Mann of Waldron; grandchildren, Regina Raney, Chloe Raney, Kennedy Raney, Selena Islas and Landon Islas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and several brothers and sisters.
Elizabeth graduated in 1970 from Shelbyville High School.
She was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Elizabeth retired in 2017, from Securitas, as a security guard at Pilkington NSG, with over 15 years of service.
She enjoyed country music.
Elizabeth loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be observed.
Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.

So sorry that I missed her service. I drove her to many of her Veterans Affairs appointments. We were good friends. I was unaware of her passing until today 23 April 2024. My condolences to her family and friends.
