Born in Perth Amboy, Elizabeth was raised in Fords prior to becoming a longtime resident of Edison. She was a faithful woman who was very active within her church where she was a member of the Red Ribbon Fellowship Group. Elizabeth had many dear friends, was an extremely kind and giving person and loved living life on her own terms.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her siblings, Paul Kertesz and Joan Buchko along with her parents, Elizabeth and Paul Kertesz. Surviving are her brother, Michael Kertesz with his wife Lori; niece, Christine; nephews, Michael, Andrew, Paul, James and Kenneth along with several cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 10am to 11am at GERITY & CHUBENKO FUNERAL HOME, 411 Amboy Avenue, Woodbridge with a Catholic prayer service beginning at 10:45am. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Elizabeth may be made to a charity of your choice.
