Elizabeth Kopper Obituary
Born on March 3, 1938 in Fultonville, NY, she was the daughter of Cyrus F. Montanye and Angeline Bellinger Montanye. She entered first grade in Cobleskill and graduated from Cobleskill High School at the age of 17.
Elizabeth earned her college degree in nursing and began her nursing career at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. It is where the majority of her family, oldest friends, and fondest memories are, here in this region of upstate New York. She continued with her nursing career, traveling all over the world, helping others. While she enjoyed traveling, it was here she loved most and called home.
She was predeceased by her brother, Cyrus F. "Rusty" Montanye.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Beth Sudol, Lori Buckner, Paul Sudol; sister, Loretta (Frank) Chambrone; 2 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces.
Her cremated remains will be laid to rest in Esperance Cemetery, by the Schoharie Creek, with her beloved husband, Edward Kopper.
