Elizabeth 'Betty' Kupidlowski, 85, of Greenwood, Delaware passed away peacefully at home on July 22, 2023, with her husband by her side.
Betty was born to Ann Nelson and Earl Jones in Wilmington, Delaware. An avid animal lover, she had a deep passion for all animals (fostering many in her home over the years) and owned horses most of her life. She was an amazing, sweet, passionate woman who loved and cared deeply for her family and the people around her. She was a beautiful person inside and out.
In addition to her parents Betty was predeceased by her sister Shirley McCarl, brother Loy McCarl, daughter Celeste Everett, son Geoffrey Alexander, stepdaughters Billie Palaypay and Sandra Souva.
Betty is survived by her husband Charlie Kupidlowski; children from her first marriage Greg Alexander (Lisa), Ave Alexander, Gary Alexander, Glen Alexander, and Gerry Alexander; stepdaughters Tammy Gibson (George) and Kelly Koether (Jerry); daughter-in-law Lori Alexander and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to send a special note of gratitude to all of her caregivers and the hospice team.Their valuable attention and compassion were exceptional and our family sincerely appreciated their daily care and support.
Memorial service will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family recommends donations in her memory to the Greenwood area Cheer Senior Center on their website at https://www.cheerde.com/donate/ or via mail to Cheer Centers Sussex County, 41 Schulze Road, Greenwood, DE 19950.
