Elizabeth "Beth" J. (nee Henderson) LaFountain, 61, of Sparta, New Jersey, passed away September 28, 2025, surrounded by family after an eight-year battle with cancer.

Beth was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend who spent many years as a stay-at-home mom to her daughters, Danielle and Melissa. In her later years, she was an aide at Helen Morgan School in Sparta prior to her retirement in 2025.

Beth was predeceased by her parents, Ethel and Hank Henderson, and her brother, David Henderson.

She is survived by: her husband, Fred LaFountain; sister, Kathy Carter and brother Ken Henderson; children, Melissa LaFountain and Danielle Steinert and son-in-law, Eric; granddaughter, Audrey Steinert; niece Erika Carter; and nephews, Evan, Brian, and Marshall.

Memorial Visitation will be held on October 25 from 1:00-4:00pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Please visit www.bizubquinlan.com to leave condolences to the family on the Tribute Wall section of the obituary.
