Elizabeth "Libby" Rae Denyer, passed away, Friday, January 9, 2026, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. She was 44 years old and was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi, on April 26, 1981.
Libby is survived by her parents, Greg and Susan Denyer of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, her biological father, James Carter Tapp, her daughter, Vivian Elizabeth Denyer, her sister, Megan Mount and husband Eric, their children, Caroline and Carson Mount and her aunts and uncles, Judy and Ken Wallin of St. Simons Island, GA., Gail Wright of Terre Haute, IN., Jim and Robin Bitzegaio of Hastings, MN., Jane Disney of Sullivan, IN., as well as numerous cousins.
She graduated from Ocean Springs High School and received an associate’s degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. She was a Junior High cheerleader and mascot, played basketball, softball and ran cross country through high school. Libby previously worked as an insurance agent and was working toward being an insurance adjuster. She was also the owner of Denyer Home Solutions, LLC.
Libby was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim and Nancy Denyer of Ocean Springs, MS and Judge Harold and Betty Bitzegaio of Terre Haute, IN.
She was a kind and hard-working person who was always willing to help others. Libby dearly loved her daughter, her pets and fishing with Vivian.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Jackson County Animal Shelter or the Ocean Springs Athletic Foundation.
