Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was a beloved daughter of the Veoda House and Elizabeth (Hall) House in which she was one of twelve children. Elizabeth was a woman of determination and grace. Beyond her professional life, Elizabeth found joy in the simple and meaningful moments. She loved gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends, whether it was social outings or joyful shopping trips. Elizabeth was a woman who believed in always being prepared and carried herself with quiet strength and elegance. One of her favorite pastimes was visiting Delaware Park Casino, where she delighted in playing the penny slots.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tyrone N. Redding, who passed away in May 2021, as well as her parents and all of her siblings.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her devoted son, Stewart, husband of Tasha Liggon; her four cherished grandchildren, Brandi Liggon, Sierra Liggon, Destiny Liggon, and Kayla Liggon; her nine adored great-grandchildren, Andre, Julian, Annaleise, Andria, Cameron, Adrian, Ali, Josiah, and Jace; and her great-great-grandchildren, Kai'lan and Josiah.
