Elizabeth “Linda” Dickerson Troxler passed away on November 26, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born & raised in Wilmington DE. She was the daughter of Robert & Elizabeth Baltrush Dickerson.
Linda loved spending as much time as possible with her family, vacationing at the beach as often as she could and always enjoyed a cold Pepsi Cola. She retired from Glen Raven Mills after many years working in their packing department.
She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Larry D. Troxler of Gibsonville, NC; son, Martin Durrence (Lonna) of Gibsonville,NC; daughter/grand daughter Courtney Troxler of the home. Grandchildren include Aleah Troxler of the home; Sarah Keldie (Zac) of Fort Hood, TX; Megan Durrence of High Point, NC; Kaleigh Marie Dang of Burlington, NC; William Isiah Hargrove of Greensboro, NC; and Sabrina Day (Jordan) of Humble, TX. Her great grandchildren include Thea Grace Patterson of Humble, TX; Adalynn Grace Keldie of Fort Hood,TX and Emilia Grace Dang of Burlington, NC. She is also survived by her sister Nancy Cutrona (Sam) of Millsboro, DE.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert John Dickerson and Elizabeth Baltrush Dickerson, brother, Butch Dickerson, sister, Susie Anton and brother, Michael Dickerson.
In lieu of flowers, the family would love to ask for donations to Hospice. We’d love to recognize the amazing care Linda received from all of her Hospice caregivers: Beverly, Ruby, April, Chaplain Holly as well as a whole host of staff that were always available for help managing her comfort and care.
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 4:00 – 6:00PM at Lowe Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.
