Elizabeth "Betsy" Lukshides

Lukshides Elizabeth "Betsy" August 21, 1942-October 15, 2025 Elizabeth, "Betsy", Lukshides, 83, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025. Born to William and Edith Wood, Betsy graduated from George School in 1960 and earned a degree at Virginia Intermont College in 1962. She worked for a time at Richardson Vicks, in Hatboro, where she met her love, the late William Lukshides. They married in 1965 and had two daughters. Betsy was known for her radiant smile, kind spirit, and love of God. She was a life long member of The Gardeners of Crooked Billet, and volunteered her time in every stage of her life, including, most recently, Chairwoman at Dock Terrace. She was happiest when surrounded by family and friends, especially Sunday dinners. She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia (Russ) Cox, and Rebecca (Joseph) Bachinsky, her grandchildren, Mitchell (Heather) Cox, Hannah (Jesse) Picton, and Daniel Bachinsky, and great granddaughter, Jade Picton, and her sisters, Anne (Ken) Kinnamon, and Susan (Walter) Siegel. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 P.M. on Friday, October 24, at Horsham Friends Meeting House, Horsham, PA. Friends may call from 10 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. "Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day."
