Elizabeth (Betty) was born in the Bronx and graduated from Thomas Aquinas High School. She then worked for the New York Telephone Company, before she married the love of her life and started a family. She knew her future husband from "the neighborhood" and began a seventy-five year-long relationship at fifteen years old. She raised eight children and had a career in banking for eighteen years. Betty is a beautiful and strong soul. She was loyal, reliable, youthful and a proud Irishman who cooked the best Italian food for her family and friends. She was a prolific reader, an avid Yankee fan, and a Pro-Life advocate. She taught her children the greatest of values and is a great inspiration to all of her grandchildren. She loved to travel with her husband Lou, she loved to feel the wind on her face, but most of all, she loved her family. She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
