Elizabeth "Lisa" Maria Noyes, 61, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 23, 2025, in her home in Riverside, CA.
Lisa was born in the U.S. Naval Hospital in Philadelphia, PA on November 13, 1963 to parents Ileana Reveron Noyes and James Drew Noyes.
Lisa grew up in Colebrook, New Hampshire and graduated from Colebrook Academy in 1981, where she stood out as an accomplished athlete and musician. In 1983, she earned her license in radiologic technology from St. Mary's General Hospital and soon after moved to Hawaii, where she fell in love with the ocean and the richness of Hawaiian culture. Her years there shaped her adventurous and caring spirit.
In 1989, Lisa relocated to Phoenix, where she raised her two sons. Balancing motherhood with professional ambition, she went on to earn her MBA in Healthcare Administration in 2005. Lisa built a career defined not only by her skill but by the kind of leader she chose to be: one who cultivated team culture, mentored staff, and celebrated the success of others. Her vision and energy inspired many who had the privilege of learning from her.
After her children were grown, Lisa continued to embrace new chapters of life, living in several different places, and bringing her spirit of adventure wherever she went.
Lisa loved creating joy for those she cared for. Whether showing friends the beauty of Hawaii or hosting family holidays, she was generous in her hospitality and selfless in her devotion to others' happiness.
She was also fearless in her pursuit of adventure-hang gliding, skydiving, and sailing the Hawaiian coastline in her catamaran.
Lisa is survived by her two sons, Nathan Noyes (Ian DeVoglaer) of Buda, TX, and Matthew Noyes (Emma Landsiedel) of Tucson, AZ; her father James Noyes of Sun City, AZ; and her two brothers, Thomas Noyes (Vikki) of Wenatchee, WA and Michael Noyes (Dinah) of Phoenix, AZ.
She also leaves behind special people who deeply cared for her and enriched her life, including Diana Tobin.
Lisa was preceded in death by her mother Ileana and also by her grandmother Dot, who lived with Lisa and her sons in her later years.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Arizona in January (details to follow).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the charity of one's choice. Cherished memories and photos of Lisa can be posted on this page's Tribute Wall.
