Elizabeth Olsen Obituary
A graduate of Sonoma State University with a degree in Psychology, Elizabeth spent a major portion of her career as a teacher with an inclination for connection and mentorship. She was an avid volunteer who loved to support her local community and culture. The number of lives she has impacted through her years as a teacher and volunteer is immeasurable but undoubtedly significant.
She is survived by her devoted son Chris and daughter-in-law Kristen; grandchildren Romero, Natalie, Melanie, Miles, Ellie, and Chase; siblings Bill, Fred, and Carl; nieces Sandra, Rebecca, and Megan; and grand-niece Reagan. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Neil.

Olsen Family,
You don't know me but I was Ruth & Harold's next door neighbor on Alden Avenue. They were wonderful neighbors...in the summer, I would help Harold with his yard work...both summer and winter..snow blowing his driveway and sidewalk and kept Ruth supplied with home made soups and dinners. Ruth would go out west to visit her sister. Harold would come to dinner at least three nights a week. I regret to say that I never met Elizabeth but I did share in the sadness when Neil, who was a friend, was taken in such a horrible way.
I hereby offer my condolences for your loss.
