Betty was my mother's best friend for ever. I've known her my whole life. She was so funny and honest. I was thankful to be able to share some memories with her in her last days. She is the bravest woman I've ever met - such a decision. We miss you already but are thankful that your suffering is over. God Bless You Betty. Until we meet again.

Betty and I have been friends since 1968 and my family considers her to be "family". She was one of the most couragest persons you could ever meet. She asked questions of any and all doctors concerning her illness and decided she was "ready". Although I couldn't be with her in her final days, I talked with her or her daughter Jen daily. I will miss her and her 'wit'.

Rest in Peace, my friend. You certainly deserve it.

I can remember as a little girl her coming over my house to see my mother Phyllis Glidden and as the years went on seeing her here and there. But, over the past year or so I've seen alot more of her. She was a very caring, lady who we all loved very much. She was a very GOOD friend to my mother and a very special part of our family. She is going to be missed very much, but not as much as my daughter, Kelsey will miss her very much sooo.... She was definately an original lady with her own special personality, I think that's why we loved her so very much among other reasons.

WE LOVE YOU BETTY, WE'LL MISS YOU!!!

It was an honor to spend a brief period of time with Elizabeth as her hospice volunteer. Being in her presence I sensed her strength and her sweetness in accepting care and felt privleged to be in her company. It was wonderful to discover later that she was a volunteer herself. May her spirit be blessed and may her family find comfort in their own ways.
