Services for Elizabeth Carol Pinson, 78, will be held Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Scott Bloodworth officiating. Interment will follow at Mixie Baptist Church Cemetery located on State Hwy 77. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 11:00 am until Service time. Mrs. Pinson, a former Bank Teller at McKenzie Banking Company and retired from State Farm Insurance in McKenzie, died Thursday, November 23, 2023 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was born on April 9, 1945 in Vale, Tennessee to Oliver and Vela Pruitt Fields. She was a member of McKenzie Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Franklin Pinson who died in 2016, and three brothers Gordon “Cotton” Fields, James Fields, and Bobby Fields.
Survivors include her daughter and son in law Wendy and David Hazlewood of Milan, two grandchildren Kathryn Hazlewood and Eric Hazlewood, two sisters Dorothy Fields Norden of Indiana and Marjorie Hutchens of McKenzie.
Pallbearers who will be serving are: David Hazlewood, Eric Hazlewood, Derrek Markgras, Dalton Markgras, Dallas Wade and Tommy Bowman.
