Elizabeth Seiler

Elizabeth "Betty" Seiler, a beloved resident of Statesboro, GA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 25th, 2025, at the age of 77. Betty was born in Staten Island, NY on July 9th, 1948, to George and Theresa Laidlaw. She lived a vibrant life, filled with love for her family and a passion for bowling and shopping.
Betty was a devoted mother, sister, and grandmother who brought joy and warmth to everyone she met. She is survived by her loving son, David Seiler, and her two devoted daughters, Lori Becker and Maria Greve. Betty's proud legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Erica Schmidt and Rickie and Nick Becker. She also leaves behind her dear sister, Hazel Hall, and several nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her lively spirit and generous nature.
Betty was predeceased by her loving parents, George and Theresa Laidlaw, whose memory she kept alive through stories and traditions. Her love for bowling made her a lifelong participant in local leagues, where she formed treasured friendships. Betty also enjoyed shopping, always on the lookout for the perfect gift or a great bargain, which she shared with family and friends.
Elizabeth's life will be celebrated, honoring the indelible mark she left on those who knew her. She will be dearly missed by her family and the community she loved.
