DR. ELIZABETH A. "BETSY" TEEPLE

TEEPLE DR. ELIZABETH A. "BETSY" Of Silver Spring, MD. Age: 46. Died surrounded by family and friends on January 26th, 2023 in St. Croix, VI. Formerly of Broomall and Pocono Pines, PA and Seattle, WA. Cherished daughter of John and Kathy Teeple. Beloved sister to Emily Morrison (Josh) and Dr. Erin Teeple (Raymond Rockwell.) Also survived by nieces Maya Morrison, Molly Rockwell and Anna Rockwell and nephew Charlie Morrison. Betsy was a 1994 graduate of Marple Newtown HS, earned a BS in mathematics from Bryn Mawr College, an MS in statistics from the University of Connecticut and a doctorate in biomedical statistics from the University of Washington. She worked at the Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle and the Food and Drug Administration in Silver Spring. She loved the great outdoors, Seattle, travelling, cooking, math and statistics, and her family and friends. Betsy died the way she lived, fiercely independent and doing it on her own terms. Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family from 6 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. at THE DONOHUE FUNERAL HOME, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300, on Thursday February 23rd. Memorial Service will begin at 7:30. Interment will be private.
