Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Wagner

Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Wagner of Waldorf, Maryland passed away on September 19, 2025, at Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, MD. She was born December 27, 1939, to the late Bosco Walton Wagner and Anna Mae Carr of Northwest DC. Betty spent many years in her adult life at Melwood Inc where she worked in the horticulture program. After working many years, Betty chose to be apart of the Community Connections program at Melwood to enjoy community outings with her peers. Betty officially retired in December 2017 to enjoy her days at home with HARC Residential Services (later Providence of Maryland). Betty received one on one staff support during the week to enjoy her retirement and attend her favorite community outings. Betty loved a McDonalds cheeseburger! Betty also enjoyed coloring, sitting outside on the patio of her group home, and shopping. Visitation will be on Friday, September 26, 2025 from 9:00 AM until time of Service at 10:00 AM at Raymond Funeral Service, 5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
