Elizabeth "Bette" J. Walters, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025. Bette was born on May 8, 1929, in Blacklick, OH to the late "Wilmer" Harold and Altha (Baker) Evans. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George; brothers, Ellis and Lindsay Evans; sister, Ruth Junkermann.
Bette is survived by her two daughters, Martha Roloson and Altha Brooks; grandchildren, Lyndsay Pepple and Amanda Brooks; great-grandchildren, Emily and Brooke Pepple; niece, Ellisa Parrott.
She was a member of Mifflin Presbyterian Church for 85 years and she also attended Bethany Methodist Church in Corning, Ohio. Bette was a member of the Order of Eastern Star serving as Worthy Matron and Grand representative to the state of Delaware.
The funeral service for Bette will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 11:00am at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main St. Reynoldsburg, OH conducted by Rev. Lisa Eye and Rev. Nate Achterof. Visiting will begin at 10:00am, one hour prior to her funeral service. Private interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
