Elizabeth Williams, age 77, passed from this life into glory on Sunday, February 16, 2025.
Elizabeth was born on December 14, 1947, in Colorado City, Texas, to Willie and Naomi (Scott) Jones. She dedicated her career as a caregiver in the healthcare industry, touching countless lives with her kindness and compassion. A devoted member of New Hope Baptist Church in Weatherford and the NAACP, Elizabeth found joy in singing with the choir and cherished every conversation with family, friends, and anyone who would listen. She never met a stranger and could brighten any room with her warmth and laughter.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Eddie Williams; an infant son; father, Willie Jones; and brother, Kenneth Jones.
Elizabeth is survived by her sons, Henry Williams and wife, Stephanie, Kelvin Williams and wife, Marie; daughter, Patience Ballard and husband, Kevin; and stepson, Eddie Williams, Jr.; nine grandchildren, Jacobi Williams, Jeremy Williams, Alexis Williams, Arianna Williams, London Williams, Lynsey Jones, Morgan Ballard, Brea Williams, and Liam Ballard; one great-grandchild, Aaliyah Chretin, along with several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her mother, Naomi Jones, and siblings, Esther Simmons and husband, Charles, Norma Washington and husband, John, and Donald Jones.
We invite you to join us in celebrating her life at a visitation to be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
