Ella L. DiBiasio (Gauvin), 94, passed away peacefully on September 10. 2025 at Heritage Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Albert C. DiBiasio. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late David and Medora (Lefebvre) Gauvin.
Ella worked for the Providence School Department for 25 years, before retiring in 1992. She loved going to the casinos and playing bingo and bocce. She enjoyed being with her family and friends and took great pride in her ten grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Lorraine Pesaturo and her husband, Benjamin, Ann-Marie D’Ambrosio and her husband, Mark, Albert DiBiasio and his wife, Dana, her son-in-law, Jeffrey Blake, ten grandchildren, Adam Pesaturo, Nicholas DiSanto, Cora Pesaturo, Nathan D’Ambrosio, Sophia D’Ambrosio, Cole Blake, Mia DiBiasio, Devin DiBiasio, Ava DiBiasio, and Daria DiBiasio, and two great-grandchildren, Emma and Henry Pesaturo. She was the mother of the late Patricia Blake and sister of the late Gloria Gaskin.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 9 am in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harmony Hospice, 931 Jefferson Blvd., Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886.
