Ella Maxine Harper 73 of Red Wing Mn died Friday November 3rd at Mayo Clinic Red Wing. She was born February 12th 1950 in Saxton Mo to Maxwell and Ella (Roberson) Ghrist and grew up in Tonica where she graduated. In 1969 she married William Harper and they later divorced. For many years she worked as a home health aide. In 2003 she moved to Red Wing to be closer to her daughter. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and playing video games with her grandchildren. She is survived by her son Dean ( Denise) Harper of Peru. Daughter Becky (Chris) Harper Red Wing Mn. 3 grandchildren Conor, Mak, and Kailey. One brother Melvin ( Linda) Ghrist. She was preceded in death by her parents and 9 siblings. Services will be held at a later date.
