Ella Langston Obituary
Jane was a member and the Director of Education at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. She was instrumental in setting up school for Pre-K and Kindergarten children. She also took a role in the Mothers Morning Out program at the church. Additionally, Jane was a Sunday school teacher at different times at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. Jane was lovingly referred to as the "Queen Mum" among her friends in their group, The Red Hat Society.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Chandler Langston; daughter, Teresa Langston Tressel; mother, Alice Robinson; father, Clem Robinson; sisters, Ruby Lee Robinson and Mildred Sisson; brothers, Jack Robinson and Harold Robinson.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, and two grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 22nd at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church at 1:00 PM with Dr. Randal Whitten officiating. Visitation will be held at the church before the service at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
