DYER CHAPEL-Ella Mae Keith Lee passed away Tuesday November 25, 2025 at NHC Healthcare in Farragut, TN.
She was born April 29, 1934 in Baxter, TN to the late Virgil and Pearlie Vickers Keith.
After graduating high school from Baxter Seminary, Ella moved to Nashville where she met and married Jack Lee in 1961. She and Jack raised their family in Hendersonville where they lived for more than 40 years. Ella was a devoted wife, mother, and Nana. She was a member of Hendersonville First United Methodist Church, and lived a life centered around her faith and family. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Ella was preceded in death by her husband Jack, and by her sister Peggy Stout. She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Sheila and Randy Gibson and Laura and Justin Beaver; grandchildren, Matthew Gibson, Ashley Gibson, Josh (Megan) Beaver, and David Beaver; six brothers, Gene Keith, Billy Keith, Gary (Carol) Keith, Virgil (Wanda) Keith Jr., Roger (Debra) Keith, and Philip Keith; five sisters, Dorothy Phann, Barbara Dyer, Linda (Mike) Spurlock, Hilda Keith, and Wilda Keith; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 29, 2025 starting at 12:00 p.m. (CST) at Dyer Funeral Home in Cookeville, TN, with a service to follow starting at 2:00 pm (CST). Family and friends will gather afterwards at Crest Lawn Cemetery in Cookeville for graveside services.
Officiating the services will be Pastor Doug Benningfield. Pallbearers will be Matthew Gibson, Josh Beaver, David Beaver, Alan Keith, Daryl Blair, and Stacy Keith.
