Ella Nobles Obituary
Ella was born on September 10, 1934, in Columbus County, to the late Acy Nobles and Mae Etta Caulder Nobles. Along with her parents, Ella was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Rob" Nobles, Sr.; her siblings: Joseph Nobles, Minnie Nobles, Emma Jane Powell, Herman Nobles, Sarah Hayes, Willie Howard Nobles, and Lura Hayes.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Worthington Funeral Home, with Pastor Wendell Ray and Pastor Buddy Seay officiating. Interment will follow in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, from 6:00-8:00 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Nobles served as a Nurses Assistant for over 26 years. She loved the Lord and served him faithfully for many years; Ella was a dedicated member of China Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Ella leaves behind her beloved children: Sue N. McPherson of Beaverdam, Robert Lee Nobles, Jr. of Cerro Gordo, Sherry Boswell of Batesburg, SC; grandchildren: Shonna Mercer, Joe McPherson, Jason Nobles, Timothy Smith, Jonathan Smith, William Boswell, Patrick Boswell; great-grandchildren: Phillip Mercer, Lacie Mercer, Emma McPherson, Owen McPherson, Ivan McPherson, Hunter Nobles, Hannah Nobles, Jacelyn Nobles, Ben Boswell, Raven Price, Kayley Smith, Briston Smith, Kara Smith; great-great grandchildren: Madelyn Price, Karleigh Smith, Kinsley Smith, and Jace Smith.
