Ella Williams Obituary
Mrs. Williams was born in Tift County, GA, on October 21, 1940, to the proud parents of Maetta and Gilbert Lofton. She attended Crisp County public schools. After relocating to Tampa, she met and was joined in holy matrimony to Jeremiah Williams. She loved cooking and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend to many.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Jeremiah Williams, mother and father, Maetta and Gilbert Lofton, brothers, Charlie Lofton, William Lofton, Sammy Lofton, Benjamin Lofton and Curtis Lofton, sisters, Ethel Lee Harris, Helen Royal, Willie Bell Lofton, nieces Josephine Starks, Gwendolyn Jones, Carolyn Lofton, Dorothy Lofton, nephews Randolph Graham, Gilbert Lofton, James Lofton.
She leaves to cherish her memory Sister-in-laws, Ola B. Lofton and Adeline Lofton, cousins Ben (Verdell), Johnnie (Jeanette), Linda and Vivian Genwright, nephews and nieces, Carlton Lofton (Vernadine), Kurt Lofton Sr., Winfred Lofton (Crystal), Charles Lofton (Jackie), Reginald Lofton (Tina), Ronald Graham (Carolyn), Carl Graham (Gwendolyn), Leon Gallon, Marvin Knight, Wanda Simmons, James Royal, Marcellous Royal (Sarah), Barbara Royal, Todd Royal (Ladedrick), Rose Riggins (Alan), Kenneth Royal, Mia Royal (Tony), Tony Royal (Eldora), Thedeous Royal, Tammie Royal, Trina Lofton, Jefferson Lofton, Ella Perry, Brenda Austin, Tania Gilbert, Charlie Lofton, Joe Lofton, Michael Lofton, Herbert Lofton, Wayne Lofton, Martha Miller, Deborah Lofton, Marion Lofton, Keith Lofton, William Lofton Jr, Abigail Jones, Beverly Johnson, Mary Hinson, Nesdon Harris, Isaiah Harris, Bessie Moore, step children, Jeremiah Jr and Pat, and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
