ELLEN JEANETTE GEGG Ellen Jeanette Gegg, 85, of Bunceton, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Tipton Oak Manor. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025, at St. Charles Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran School, 17291 B-12, Bunceton, MO 65237. Ellen was born December 16, 1939, in West Alton, Missouri, the daughter of Elbert and Bertha (Jentzsch) Gegg. She graduated from St. Charles High School. Ellen was a people person who enjoyed spending time with her friends. She also loved bowling, antiques, playing games, and her family. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Virgil Gegg and Lester Gegg, and grandson Charles Reed. She is survived by her children: David Harding (June Copenhaver) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Doug Reed (Patti) of Herculaneum, Missouri, Daniel Reed (Debra) of Castle Rock, Colorado, Dawn Taylor (Tim) of Bunceton, Missouri; grandchildren: Addison Harding, Charlie Harding, Robert Reed, Houston Reed, Heather Pulis, Jacob Reed, Carter Taylor; 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
