Ellen was the first to encourage and allow me to sing solos. She gave me the part of "Joseph" when our Crescent Avenue Children's Choir presented "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". That led to participation in school musicals over the years, as well as performing with a vocal music group at Purdue. I still perform in musicals locally with the FWCivic Theatre. I have always been and will continue to be eternally grateful to Ellen for her faith in me as a singer. Ellen, thank you for giving to the Lord. I am a life that was changed.

Please accept our sincerest sympathies for your family. We have always held Ellen in the highest regard.

She left a proud and wonderful legacy in the loving and rather sizable extended family she and her devoted husband, Fritz, have given to this world and many friends, like me, who will very much miss her!
