Mrs. Ellen Bridget Halloran

Ellen Bridget Halloran, 93, of Port St. Lucie, died January 10, 2007 at her home. Born in Ireland, she had been a resident of Florida since 1977 coming from Brooklyn, NY. She moved to Port St. Lucie from Margate, FL in 2000. Before retiring she had been a supervisor for the Cascade Laundry in Brooklyn for many years. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie. Survivors include a daughter, Eileen P. McCarry of Port St. Lucie; a son James Halloran of Brooklyn, NY; sisters, Mary and Kathleen, both of Ireland; 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband James Halloran and a brother Martin Diamond. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM, January 14, 2007 at the Byrd, Young and Prill Port St. Lucie Funeral Home with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, January 15, 2007 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Pinelawn, NY. Arrangements in New York are under the direction of the Marine Park Funeral Home, Brooklyn.
