Bob and Emily Nicodemus

Dear Melanie, Audrey, and Drew,
Your Mom was my very first friend when Bob and I moved to Mass. in 1970. I knew no one when we moved here, and we became instant friends. We both were pregnant with our first child. We raised our kids together, shared many parenting tips, had many family dinners of cheese fondue together, we laughed and cried as our families grew and circumstances changed. I love the photo of your Mom that you posted. I will always remember her with her wink and smile. She will be with me in spirit in my heart as I know she will be always with you. She loved you so much. I love you, Ellen. May you rest in peace. Love, Bob and Emily

My heart & prayers go out to Ellen's family during this difficult time. I didn't know Ellen personally, but she would always walk by my house on Nahatan Street & look to see if my cats were in the window. She would stop, wave to them, & even talk to them as she passed by. She was such a kind lady & the whole neighborhood will miss her dearly.
