Ellen Lucille Perdue, 86, of Estil Street, Princeton departed this life peacefully Saturday, December 16, 2006 at the Princeton Community Hospital, only to receive he mansion in glory and to be with her Lord & Savior. Born April 22, 1920, at Bramwell, she was the daughter of the late George Edward Crewey and Mattie Louise Burgess Crewey. She was educated in Mercer County and a member of the Princeton Church of God, on the Oakvale Road. Mrs. Perdue was a devoted wife, a loving & caring mother, and a doting grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her Lord, and her family meant everything to her in this life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert J. Perdue, a Son, Ronald Lee Perdue, along with three brothers; Johnny M. Crewey, George Lawrence Crewey and Stuart Crewey. Survivors include, Her seven living children, Emma Jean Thornton & husband Paul Ruth Martin Hobert David Perdue & wife Marcella Margaret Auton & husband Ronald Richard Arnold Perdue & companion Shirley James Mitchell Perdue & wife Melinda Faye Louise Hunt & husband Willis all of Princeton 14 Grandchildren 21 Great Grandchildren Siblings Christine Eplin & husband Walter of California Ruth Eplin & husband Woodrow of Winter Springs, Florida Elizabeth DeMasters of Princeton A host of nephews and nieces Funeral Services will be held 9:00 P.M. Monday evening, December 18, 2006 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor�s Derek Wilson & Stella Falvo officiating. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, at the Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery in Princeton. Those wishing to attend are requested to meet at the funeral home on Tuesday by 10:45 AM Friends may visit with the family Monday from 7 until 9 PM at the funeral Home.
