Ellen L. Shields-White

Ellen L. Sheilds White of Georgetown, Ohio, formerly of Maysville, 75, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Jewish Hospital, Cincinnati.

Ellen was born January 27, 1951 in Maysville to the late Willaim Allen Irvin and the late Elizabeth Helen Phillips Irvin.

Prior to her retirement 15 years ago, she worked at Techno-trim and had worked in housekeeping. She loved spending her time with her children and grandchildren and having the free time to do whatever she wanted whether it was shopping with her daughter or eating at Golden Corral. She loved her God and attending services at the Church of Christ in Georgetown, Ohio. She had been a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for over 20 years. Ellen also enjoyed traveling, her favorite destinations being Florida and the Smokey Mountains.

Survivors include her husband of almost seven years, Thomas White; her children, James (Linda) Riggs of Maysville, Charles "Chuck" (Donna) Riggs of Maysville, Steven Riggs of Maysville and Christina Riggs of Hamersville, Ohio; grandchildren, Jessica (Ty) Krebs, Sierra (Eddie) Huddle, Isaiah Riggs, Laela Riggs, Weston (Caitlyn Mers) Riggs, Colton (Alania) Riggs, Jaylin (Amanda) Jones, Brittany (Brandon) Adair, Kelsey Riggs, Devin Riggs, Brandon (Amanda) Welch, and Elijah Riggs; and 16 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Ellen was preceded in death by her brothers, Henry Irvin, Jimmy Irvin and William Irvin who died in infancy.

Funeral services for Ellen Shields-White will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday March 12, 2026, at Brell and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Chad Current officiating. Burial will follow in the Maysville Mason County Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
