Ellen Cleone VanOrder, age 66, of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025 at her home. She was born on January 1, 1959 in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Ross and Marion Alice (Woodin) Carpenter. Ellen was married to Alvan VanOrder. She worked as a flagger for JKK Enterpriser. Ellen enjoyed bingo, going to the casino, and playing cards at The Ven-You in Tioga, PA.

Ellen is survived by her husband; two daughters, Gerri Ann Seamans of Gettysburg, PA, and Mandy Rae King of Inwood, WV; a son, Joshua James King of Lawrenceville, PA; five grandchildren, Dallas King, Rihley James King, Benny Benford, Gehrig J. King, and Raelyn J. King; great-granddaughter Ivey L. King; six sisters, Donna Seamans of Gettysburg, PA, Betty Brown of Cuba, NY, Rossann Schwartz of Las Vegas, NV, Dawn Klinefeller of Aspers, PA, Marsha Schroeder of Palmyra, NY, and Gail Jones of Allenwood, PA; and an abundance of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Easton King; and two sisters, Ida Mae Penner and Emma Carpenter.
