Ellie Irvin Bryant, 93, of Mooresville, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville.
She was born Oct. 21, 1927, in Concord, to the late Paul and Pauline Earnhardt Irvin. Mrs. Bryant was retired from Southern Bell Telephone and a former member of Huntersville A.R.P. Church. She enjoyed traveling and taking care of her home. Mrs. Bryant loved her family and had a very kind heart. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Ray Bryant; son, Darryl Bryant; and brothers, John Irvin and Paul H. Irvin Jr.
She is survived by her son, Scott Bryant and wife, Alexis; sister, Joan Holbrook; granddaughters, Sonnie Hasson and husband, David and Annie Oco and husband, Pio; and great-grandchildren, John and Emme Hasson, Caydence Crisco, and Lennex Oco.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 9, from 5 to 6 p.m., at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, with a graveside service following at 6:30 p.m., at Glenwood Memorial Park with the Rev. John Miles officiating.
