Elliot Eisenberg, age 70, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Hudson, NH on Friday, August 4, 2023. He was born on June 19, 1953 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Henry Eisenberg and Luba Eisenberg. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen Eisenberg, who was the love of his life. They were married on June 24, 1979 in Nashua, New Hampshire at Temple Beth Abraham.
Elliot graduated from Boston University and moved to Salem, MA, where he met Kathleen. They moved to New Hampshire together and opened "Eisenberg's Deli". After the birth of their daughters, Elliot and Kathleen sold the deli so they could spend more time together as a family. Elliot then spent many years working at Hannaford's supermarket and Sousa Realty.
Elliot was an active member of the Temple Beth Abraham community, where he was a beloved member and friend to many. He took great pride in his Jewish heritage. He honored his parents' memory by sharing their story and educating people on the Holocaust. He volunteered every week at the Nashua Soup Kitchen which was very important to him as well as the joy he found volunteering with Guiding Eyes as a puppy sitter.
He loved riding his motorcycle, birdwatching, and spending time with Kathleen, his family, and friends. He loved telling funny stories and jokes and listening to his music loud. He loved Star Trek and traveling. His peaceful home was along the Merrimack River, where he fished and took boat rides with friends and family.
Elliot is predeceased by his father, Henry Eisenberg, his mother, Luba Eisenberg. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen, and daughters Sara and her husband Chris, Rachel and her wife Robyn, Marcia and her partner Micheal, as well as grandchildren Lila, Ruby, and Brixton. He is also survived by his three brothers, Larry, Sheldon, and Phil, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Elliot always shared his belief "Always look up to everyone you meet." This message resonated in all of his actions. He was a helper, a generous soul, a kind and dependable man.
