Ellis Roach Obituary
He was born in Harrison County, Mississippi on August 30, 1938 to the late Ellis and Della Flowers Roach.
He spent his working career in military service with the United States Army.He leaves to cherish his memory and continue his legacy, two loving daughters, Elyse L. Roach (fiancé Roderick Hudson) of Fayetteville, NC and Marisa D. Roach Scott of the home, the loves of his life his grandchildren, James Ellis and Logan Noell Scott of the home.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Monday, March 2nd at the Johnson Chapel AME Zion Church with Rev. Roland Pruyear, the church pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in the Lebanon National Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers the family humbly requests that you donate to Sonny Soldiers, the family's American Heart Association Walk Team. http://www2.heart.org/goto/SonnySoldiers
Visitation will be Monday, March 2nd at the Johnson Chapel AME Zion Church, 300 East High Street, Springfield, KY from 10:00 until 12:00 noon.
Carey & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Our families have been blended since our daughters were in the 4th grade. Ellis and Mary Roach were present at every major event in our lives whether it was in or out of town. Mr. Roach was a devoted husband, supportive father, role model and father-figure, who has transitioned from this life to gain his heavenly reward. Tami and I have beautiful memories to cherish and love that remains. My condolences to Marisa, Elyse, James Ellis and Logan. Rest in peace Mr. Roach.
