Aunt Elma had the most beautiful smile. I have wonderful memories of growing up with the Walker family especially when they lived in the Poconos and Mechanicsburg. Aunt Elma was so loving and kind. I was so fortunate to have a cousin (Joya) who was only one month younger than me and I will always remember the trip to Texas one summer when we were young teenagers. I didn't know it could be that hot anywhere. Sending so much love to Uncle Bruce, Joya, Bruce Jr, Aaron and their families.

Aunt Elma was such a fun aunt. The years the family lived in Mechanicsburg stand out to me the most. I have a foggy memory of a Thanksgiving dinner with a turkey not yet defrosted but cannot recall what we ate instead. She had a lovely laugh that I regret not hearing for a long time now as we live far away. I looked forward to her glittery Christmas cards each year. Sending my deepest condolences to Uncle Bruce, Joya, Bruce, and Aaron and their families during this hard time. I will be thinking of you all during the upcoming services.

Aunt Elma´s energy is a bright spot in my childhood memories. She was such a fun aunt to have. The years the family lived in Mechanicsburg stand out to me- family dinners, playing space invaders in the basement. There was an infamous Thanksgiving with a turkey not defrosted but I was too young to recall what we ate for dinner instead. My heart goes out to Uncle Bruce, Joya, Bruce, and Aaron and their families during this hard time. I´ll be thinking of you all during these services.

The first time I met Elma was at my daughter, Jennifer´s bridal shower for her upcoming wedding to her son Bruce Jr. I loved her right away. I always enjoyed visiting with her and Bruce Sr. When they would come to North Carolina to visit. Elma was smart, loving, witty and competitive in games. We will hold on to the memories we have of her before Alzheimer´s took the person we knew away. We will be praying for comfort and peace for the family. Love to all.
