Bud, was a quality individual with a gentlemanly personality. He was a good Civil War buff and friend.

I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Bud Atkinson. He was a great asset to the SUVCW and a valiant veteran of World War II. He admitted me to the Anna M. Ross Camp over 35 years ago. He will be sorely missed.
With sincere sympathy,
Barry Kelly
