In memory of
Kay Godbey

Elmer was so loved at the City of Euless. He was a quiet hero to many. He made you feel safe and professionally handled any disturbances in the Euless court and city hall. People seemed to just naturally be drawn to his gentlemanly manner. He did his job, never boasted about himself, but he was greatly admired and loved. He has been missed since his retirement from there, but is so fondly remembered.

I was Honored to have known Elmer for over 57 years and to have worked around him at the DPD. He was a member of the DPD Master Masons Masonic Degree team and he helped confer my Master Mason's 3rd Degree on me. It was a pleasure and and honor to have been his friend,Brother in Blue, and a Masonic Worthy Brother. Godspeed, and may you RIP on this your final earthly signal 66. John R. My favorite Texan. Elmer was a wonderful human being, a close friend to my family and I for many years. He treated us like his own family and we loved him as such. He has now seen the face of Jesus and has been reunited with his beloved wife Yvonne.
He will be missed tremendously...
We love you buddy...

My favorite Texan is now resting in the arms of Jesus and has been reunited with his beloved wife Yvonne.
Elmer was a wonder human being, a close friend to my family and I for many years. He treated us like family and we loved him as such.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Toni, Pam, Donna, Shana, Sunny, and the rest of the Boyd family, who all are just as equally wonderful as Sonny was.
Rest easy ole buddy, we´re going to miss you. We love you!

Probably my "first memory" of Mr. Boyd was in the early 1960´s. He and my daddy were dearest of friends and partners on the Dallas Police Homicide/Robbery Unit. I became very close with his 3 daughters, especially Toni as were were the same age. He always had a smile on his handsome face and I have many fond memories of this sweet man. HEAVEN BOUND Mr. Boyd...give my mom and dad a hug!

I met Mr Boyd when he was a patient for home Health. I quickly discovered he was my friend. He always made me feel at home and always had a smile and a hug for me. He loved telling me stories and showing me photos while we worked to get him strong enough to live alone in his home. Mr Boyd was a genuine true friend that I am so thankful I got to meet. Mr Boyd will be greatly missed and I will treasure my memories of Him.
