Elmer Russell Myus

Elmer R. Myus - Easley, SC Elmer Russell Myus, 76, of Easley, husband of Barbara Hagner Myus, passed away Wednesday December 19, 2012 at his home. Mr. Myus was born in Redford, Michigan, the son of the late Russell and Mildred DeMille Myus. He was a self-employed auto mechanic and drove dirt track race cars, including his favorite car # 39, for 12 years. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and the Victory Bible Fellowship Class. Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Danny Myus, of Anderson, SC, David Myus, of Greenville, SC and Kennie Myus, of San Juan Capistrano, California; three daughters, Kathy Myus, of Anderson, SC, Debra Myus, of Phoenix, Arizona and Connie Hoffman, of Pendleton, SC; a brother, Terry Fairlamb, of Ohio; sisters, Lois Balsis, of Lake Mary, Florida and Beverly Beldo, of Kaleva, Michigan; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, David Moorehouse. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Rock Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
