MISSOULA ~ Elmer, a resident of Missoula, Montana, went home to be with his Heavenly Father and his loving wife of 69 years, Delores, on October 11, 2025.
Elmer was born in Beulah, ND and had 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
During his life he served 3 years in the Air Force and worked various jobs, including the Service Department at a local Pontiac Dealership and later as a mechanic at Roemer’s Tire Center in Missoula.
His favorite pastimes were being a member of various local car clubs, working on cars, and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
He is survived by Roger (Kim) Renz (son and daughter-in-law) of Washington State, Madelyne Renz (granddaughter) and Thomas Renz(grandson) both of Washington State, and Marina Renz (daughter) of Missoula.
In lieu of flowers, please send any donations in his memory to First Lutheran Church in Missoula, Montana where they were longtime members.
Memorial Service will be held at First Lutheran Church, 2808 South Ave. West, Missoula, Montana 59804, at a later date.
