Jarrod Bearden officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Ararat Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville. Mr. Smith, a carpenter, went to his heavenly home May 4, 2015. He was a member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, Downsville. Preceding him in death was his father, Warren Harding Smith. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Sammie Lee Smith of Downsville; 1 brother, Kenneth Smith & wife, Billie of Downsville; 1 sister, Virginia Prophit & husband, Charlie of West Monroe; 3 nephews: Trey Patton, Kenny Wayne Patton and Steve Smith; 2 nieces: Angela Patton and Misty Harper; and several great nieces & nephews. Pallbearers will be Ricky Albritton, Bobby King, Kent Skains, Danny Boyd, Danny Hollis and Paul McKenney. Visitation is 5:00-8:00pm Wednesday at Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.
